This celebration jersey was made by event sponsor Santini for the 2010 Mapei Day, a fantastic annual multi-sport event which takes place in July in Italy.

The stunning, graphic design of this jersey was created in memory of Franco Ballerini, a former Mapei professional who sadly died in a car rally at Larciano in 2010.

Santini produce a jersey for the event every year, and other designs have featured animals including eagles, ibexes, and foxes!    I'll have to try and gather up a few more designs to put online!
